<\/strong>Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6000 annually, credited directly to their bank accounts in three installments of Rs 2000 every four months. Yesterday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the state government will add an extra Rs 2000 per year to the existing scheme. This means Rajasthan farmers will now receive a total of Rs 8000 annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who Benefits?
<\/strong>This increase benefits around 57 lakh farmers in Rajasthan, providing more financial support to those who need it. The state government will incur an additional expenditure of Rs 1100 crore annually due to this increase, but it’s a significant step towards supporting the farming community.<\/p>\n\n\n\nHow Will This Work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Previously, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers received Rs 6000 annually. With the Rajasthan government\u2019s new contribution, farmers will now get Rs 8000 annually. The additional Rs 2000 from the state will be seamlessly integrated into the existing system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
16 Installments Already Released
<\/strong>So far, the government has released 16 installments under this scheme, benefiting 9 crore farmers nationwide. A total of Rs 3 lakh crore has been disbursed. Farmers are now eagerly awaiting the 17th installment, which is expected to be released soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\nNo Extra Steps Required!
<\/strong>Farmers in Rajasthan do not need to take any additional steps to receive this increased benefit.
