Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the release of the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. This scheme provides an annual financial aid of Rs 6000 to farmers, distributed in three installments. If you need to change your bank account details for the next installment, please check below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the beginning of PM Narendra Modi’s third term, the first cabinet meeting recently took place. In this meeting, PM Modi released the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, benefiting around 9.3 crore farmers. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6000 annually, divided into three installments of Rs. 2000 each. The amount will be directly credited to the bank account. However, for any reason, if you wish to change your bank account for the next installment, and wish to receive your next Kisan Samman Nidhi in your new bank account, you need to immediately update your account details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Access the Update Option:<\/strong> On the home page, click on the ‘Updation of Self Registered Farmers’ option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter Aadhaar Details:<\/strong> Input your Aadhaar number and select ‘Get Data.’<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Update Bank Details:<\/strong> After clicking, all your details will be in front of you. Click on ‘Edit’ to update your bank account information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    What\u2019s the Current Benefit of PM Kisan Yojana?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6000 annually, credited directly to their bank accounts in three installments of Rs 2000 every four months. But there\u2019s good news for Rajasthan farmers \u2013 this amount has now been increased! This means Rajasthan farmers will now receive a total of Rs 8000 annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eligibility Criteria<\/strong> for PM Kisan Yojana<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Originally, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana<\/strong><\/a> was only for small and marginal farmers with up to 2 hectares of land. Now, all farmers who own land can benefit, provided the land was registered in their name before January 1, 2019. Additionally, applicants must have a bank account, an Aadhaar card, and a link to NPCI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
