Through the Digital Saathi platform, it will be easy for the smallholder farmers to enable agriculture advisory services that help in enhancing the markets in the five districts of Karnataka including Haveri, Devangere, Shivvmogga, Ballari, and Chitradurga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Digital Saathi is available on Android phones especially in Karnataka districts and all the information is provided in the local language of Kannada that helps to enhance the decision-making process for the farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this app, multiple stakeholders gain easy access from small and marginal farmers to others such as buyers, Agri suppliers, peer farmers,farmer-producing companies, and processors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government is trying to reach a maximum number of farmers estimated to be 30 thousand on May 22. Till now 6000 registered small farmers are engaged in the farmer mobile app in Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cargill has set a Digital Saathi with an aim of improving access to markets for 10 million farmers by 2030 and also providing training on sustainable agricultural practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the next five years, Cargill with this hyper-localized service platform aims to connect with 3 million farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Digital Saathi on the other way provides various solutions to the farmers related to discussion forums, information on the weather forecast, market price, pr-to pst harvest information, and other related details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
