Dr. Indrajit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Ludhiana Center for Agricultural Sciences, Barnala, Dr. HK Verma, Director Extension Education, Dr. JPS Gill, Director Research, and Dr. Satyavan Rampal, Dr. P.S. Tanwar, Associate Director KVK, Barnala, apprised the various activities of the Center for the upliftment of the farming community. He also highlighted various projects undertaken by KVK. The Vice-Chancellor discussed the projects in detail and gave his suggestions. The Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the mini sprinkler system at the 4.5-acre KVK farm. The entire team visited a newly constructed home science lab. He planted new plants of various varieties to convey the message for an environmentally friendly environment. The team also visited all the demonstration units built on the KVK campus. Dr. Singh discussed several issues with assistant professors and motivated them to serve the farming community. He said that KVK is the real platform to cater to the rural masses. We must come forward to provide all the research, technology, and interventions for these end-users. He appreciated the exhibition put up by KVK where various techniques were displayed in the form of models and charts. He interacted with progressive farmers of various enterprises of district Barnala and inquired from the farmers about the problems faced in running their establishments. He assured that the university would be with every farmer to support him at every step. He told the farmers that KVK's role in the country is amazing for the success of farming communities.
